The Prince of Darkness, aka my lovely husband says" You think you v,e got problems". We were wakened at 5;30 this morning by a phone call from our neighbour who was at the toilet and happened to notice that the side of our house was on fire. Thank goodness for middle aged incontinence! We all got out safe and well and David is now back in bed catching up with his sleep while we wait for the gas board. Nothing disturbs my sons sleep ,not even being part of a barbeque. To top it all our Saints got hammered by the Gers yesterday 4/0 . We are still 9 th in the table with 2 games in hand so we should be okay.What a story you have to tell already and you have only been away for a week. Glad to hear that you have finally landed in what seems a beautiful place and can now enjoy some well earned R@ R. Lots of love and big hugs

Hi - really lovely to hear from you and that you've arrived safely - I'm sure leaving Sunday was tough and after that journey anything else will be plain sailing!

We've been watching BBC's 'Wanted Down Under' and thinking about you both.......more rain and floods here in Yorkshire at the moment - the river at the back of our house is higher than ever - good enough for surfing I'd say!

Hi There you lucky spuds! Hope you are sitting on your bum somewhere nice enjoying the weather, Robert is in the process of downloading the pictures from New Year so when they are ready we will post the best or worst of them on here to make you smile! Will update you on Saturday re the match between Saints and the Gers. Hopefully I will be the one smiling at 4.45 that day! Got a text from Sarah yesterday. She is skiing in Italy and loving every minute of especially the hot chocolate which they serve on the slopes after the session.

Hi hope your not 2 tired and stressed out after all the hassles in travelling.....never was very keen on manchester, especially the red part!! I knew there was a reason for Iain wearing all those t-shirts at once on take off but thought it was 2 keep the baggage weight down!

Have a wonderful time travelling around cos you both deserve it, dont forget 2 keep us updated and then we may not feel as jealous!!
