Aww last night was so lovely. Our tour guide has been amazing these first 16 days and i've been so lucky to have such a fab group!! Most of the people have gone now :( just a few left. My roomie is still here :D (she leaves in the night :( I will miss her) we went for dunkin donuts for breaky and then went shopping and then we had Wendy's burger and chips (Such a good food day!) and now we are going back shopping before our massage. I'm backkk! I've been to San Juan La Laguna a little village close to the volcano and stayed with a Maya family. It was magic. They were really sweet, a mum, dad and two daughter aged 12 and 18. They parents didn't speak English but one of the daughter spoke a little English but me and my friend got by using my little phrase book. It's was a really good experience. Another chicken bus journey today - well four chicken buses! These ones were slightly different. 3 people on each seat, some had one in the middle too. People got on the front and the back. The bus assistant climbed onto the roof to get around and there was police at the front and back for a while. Antigua is such a beautiful place and it has good food!! Today has been such a lovely day. Chocolate crossaint for breakfast and then we went to a macadamia farm where we we taken on a tour around the farm and shown how they grow and use macadamia nuts. It's was really cool and the owners were lovely too. I had a macadamia pancake with macadamia butter and a free macadamia facial with fresh products, sooo good. Macadamia mad!
