The last two days have been the most challenging physically and mentally in my whole life. I have never had to dig soo deep to complete a task. The self determination I had was incredible. I shocked myself.

I have climbed a Mount Emei, a mountain 3099m (10,129ft) above ground level. All together it took us 15 hours walking and was around 38 miles!!

At points I thought my body was going to shut down. It was feeling impossible to lift my legs up the 60000 steps that we climbed.

In my head I kept telling myself that I could complete this and I will feel a huge sense of satisfaction when I do. The scenery was incredible!! We even got to see sunset at 7am while walking up the mountain.

When we finally reached the top the feeling was amazing! I have never seen such beautiful views in my life. It was mesmerising.

I am so proud of myself and I wouldn't have made it without my friends. The French couple, the French girl, the Indian guy and the 2 Chinese guys. The loveliest people you could meet!!

Tonight we will eat dinner and say our goodbyes tomorrow.
