Well the last few nights I've been on Koh Rong Samloem island, completely cut off from the world - it's been fabulous. To get to our hostel we had to get a ferry to Koh Rong Samloem island and then a little boat round to the coast where our hostel was. All that was there was our hostel, the sea, the jungle and the beach. Little jungle huts and a bar and a deck. No wifi, no service, no electric in our rooms in the day, nothing. Just nature. We sunbathed, went in the sea, played card games and board games and napped. Oh and ate foooood! The decking had giant bean bags so everyone lounged around all day relaxing looking out into the sea. Absolute bliss. So nice to have down time and enjoy doing nothing.

This was my 3rd stop in Cambodia. I started in Phnom Penn. We visited the S-21 prison and killing fields which was so sad. I didn't realise what this country had been through and only 40 years ago. Make people do not know about the genocide here but it's worth reading up about to understand the country. Google Khmer Rouge Cambodia. It was so sad visiting the places, 200000 people were held in the prison and only 7 survived and we met one of the survivors. At the fields the teeth and bones are still coming up out of the ground as well as the victims clothes. Such a brutal part of Cambodian history.

Ive been travelling with my friend Steve who I met in Vietnam and two other girls who I met in my dorm room in Phnom Penn and decided to go down to the coast together. Such nice people. We stayed in Sihanoukville for one night on the full moon and headed down to the beach bars. We will travel together until I go to my school on Monday. Pretty excited about that too.
