Hi everyone! I have finally arrived in S Africa. Arrived this morning, with thanks to Em, Pearse and Niamh, who came to my rescue in Heathrow to bring my tickets, and relieve my boredom. Was queuing at passport control for about an hour and a half this moring. Kim and I have already been into Joburg, and looked around African markets, which all sell beautiful hand made things. Went for lunch and sat outside...as it's winter here, everyone is complaining about the cold, but 20 degrees, it's perfect! Will write more soon!
