At Pak Beng we all stayed in the same guest house and had dinner together after which we got drink to take back to our guesthouse and stayed up drinking and chatting in the communal area. Next morning, second half of the slow boat journey to Luang Prabang and we all managed to get seated on the floor either side of the aisle so that made the 8 hours go a bit quicker :) Well for most of us anyway - Drew had a bit too much jim beam the night before and looked a bit green, Haley informed us that once he got back to the room he stripped off naked and went to the shower to puke his guts up and was shouting 'don't look at me Haley, get Zack, get Zack' lol I managed to finish the book eeeeeeeen had given me, I hope you dont want it back by the way cos I ended up giving it to a random american guy on the boat who was a follower of the author but hadnt read the book - as I didnt think much of the book it was easy to let go :)
