happy 2009 to you guys! always exciting and interesting to read about your adventures around the globe!
I have spent Xmas/new year with Zani in South Africa (Cape Town, Pretoria and Parks in Mpumalanga). You can imagine how tough it has been to adapt back to Swiss life/winter weather after one summer month in the bush!! my body took preventive measures and developed a cold already in the airplane on my way back to Zurich...
I often think of the Camino, it was a short but great time with you guys!!
keep well, luv,
Yves

Thanks for e-mail to chris. Chris on the web ... impressed eh? Obviously you are having a good time. I don't actually think there will be an England when you come back, it will all have shut down! USC is still hanging on in there, mall really quiet, each wage packet for Ellis means another month rent at Spencers. Tay applying to Uni, his bank job will probably end up going to Asia somewhere so he is prepared for it to go. Cleo busy with hair as word gets round and she is still in USC for the social mixing. Chris is still okay although loads of car sales places and garages are closing. My job still good, kids I support are fab. I learnt how a catalytic converter worked in science the other day and dropped it in conversation when out for a meal with friends. I took the total silence and blank faces as awe at my fantastic knowledge, there are other interpretations but I am happy to share my GCSE knowledge with them. I'll save some fantastic facts to impress you both when you get home, the list is endless. Anyway, not telling you any more till you get back, yes I know, the suspense will be too much. Bye for now. xxxxxxxxxx

Ellis got e-mail for me, thanks. Got my swimming hat and goggles on and bucket and spade at the ready - Brighton here I come! We had our honeymoon there in a B&B which was so tacky the room lit up at night with the static from the nylon sheets!! Who said romance is dead! Can't believe you are towards the end of your travels - amazing! Hope you have a happy xmas and new year. Bye for now, simseys. xxxxxxxxxxx

Can't believe you have been gone so long. When you rang it seemed only yesterday we were sitting on either end of the sofa stuffing choccy and drinking wine. Ellis had graduation ceremony this week. He won a prize of £250 with a certificate for his commitment to course and helping others! He is moving out this week, Cleo is waiting for his room. Taylor has just gone to Florida today for a week. I'm sure yu will be really poleased for me as I have just been given an antique singer sewing machine with its own sewing table, also an old lady gave me her Sylko thread box full of wooden cotton reels. Yes, I can see your face now!!!! Cheerio

Hope you are both fit and well? Our computer finally died, it could have gone in the British Museum (along with my phone when it finally siezes up) we have now impressed the kids with an up to date computer. No news really, just wanted you to know we are still here. Where will you be at christmas/new year? xxx
