Day 18

We were not to arrive in Cadiz until 1pm, so we all took the opportunity to have a sleep in. We had pre-arranged breakfast on our balcony and this arrived at 8:30am. It was cloudy and cool but still warm enough to enjoy the view. It was a lazy morning with exception of us doing some laundry in our bathroom. This involves washing the clothes one at a time in the tiny sink, before rinsing in the shower and hanging out on the balcony. A much cheaper wy to do it as the ship charge ridiculous rates.

We arrived into Cadiz at 1pm and were off the ship by 1:30pm. We all agreed it was quite underwhelming. Most of the shops were closed due to their siesta time so we found a neat place for lunch and had some Tapas. About 3pm we walked into the heart of the city and found a large piazza but there was hardley anyone there. We walked until we found some shops that were open, and the girls had a look through the shops while the boys grabbed a couple of beers at a local bar. The beer nor shopping wasnt very nice so when we met up again we decided to head back on board.

We spent the rest of the evening relaxing with a couple of drinks and an easy dinner at the buffet. We sat on the balcony while we sailed away at 10pm and then headed to bed.

Tomorrow is a day at sea.
