Day 10 Today we woke up in our new hotel room after a great nights sleep. Everything is back to normal! We have a somewhat modest breakfast included, so after that we headed out to see some more sights. After dropping some laundry off, Steve, Donna, Jason and Elaine headed to the Hop on Hop off bus tour. Larry and Amanda went off to see their family. We got on the Hoho at the Colosseum and decided to do a full loop before we got off. We saw some interesting sights and the commentary that comes with the tour gave us a great insight into the eternal city. We finally got off the bus at the Trevi Fountain. Last time we were here in 2014, the fountain was being renovated and had no water in it. This time we turned the corner to see the fountain in all its glory. The small piazza was packed with tourists, but we still managed to find some room to get some photos and selfies. From here we walked to the Spanish Steps. Again, last time we were here, we did not get a chance to see the steps, so to be able to climb the steps and spend some good time there was a real treat. We then grabbed a bight to eat and jumped back on the hoho before heading back to the hotel. It was about 3pm at this stage, so after meeting back up with our travel partners, we headed to Jason and Elaine's balcony to have a couple of drinks and antipasto. About 7pm, we headed out to find a resturant for tea. It wasn't long before we found small and traditional restaurant to eat a hearty meal. For 20 euro per couple, we enjoyed risotto, lamb, wine and beer. The girls grabbed some gelato while the boys finished their wine. We made it an early night, as we have a very early start tomorow.... Vatican City including the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica.
