Day 23 - At Sea Today was our last day and it was a day at sea as we headed back to the port of Civitavecchia. It was very windy with 90kmp + winds whipping up the ocean. Day 13 At Sea At day at sea. Finally a day to relax and do nothing. We had breakfast, walked around the ship for a while checking out all the things to do. Day 12 Civitavecchia Today was the day we were to get on the cruise. It has been an action packed 11 days and we are all looking forward to some R&R. However first we decided to take a walk to the Altare della Patria, also known as the wedding cake. It serves as a museum and has sweeping views of Rome at the top. Day 11 We had an early start today as our cab was to pick us up at 7:30am to take us to Vatican City. To give you an idea of distance, we could of actually walked there from our hotel but as it was early and a bit chilly, we got a maxi taxi. Vatican City is a country inside the city of Rome. Day 10 Today we woke up in our new hotel room after a great nights sleep. Everything is back to normal! We have a somewhat modest breakfast included, so after that we headed out to see some more sights.
