OMG i just saw some pics of glasto on the web un believeable still wish was ther

well it seems like everyone is having a wicked time! i bet the white stripes rocked! on the weekend we went to the pub to watch the rugby....we lost badly the scaore was like 26-3 i think!!! so we ended up going to a flat warming party with my flat mate hope. She is very cool! then we went to a pub called the big kumera and it is AWESOME like they play all my kinda music...cheesy, metal, rock, indie, 80's its wicked.the band were excellent and had a bit of a no doubt obsession, but thats all good!! we stayed out till about 4 in the morning and met heaps of people. we also got abused by the kiwis as we lost the rugby but that was to be expected. But now during the match the captain of the lions broke is leg in the 1st min and is out for the rest of the tests, and they think when they are looking back at the replays the captain of the all blacks did a foul tackle which broke is leg....so now we have a come back!
The next test they play together is next weekend and and its in wellington so its going to be a big night!
then on sunday i went to hopes parents house and they were lovely...they are the best hosts. they fed us and everything. great food. the house was so warm and it was great to sit on the sofa and veg out watching sky(wow more channels !) before we left hope raided the fridge...she nicked toliet paper, heaps of frozen food, some fruit called feijoas(the best fruit in the world!) so now we are fully stocked up.
We also discovered a pizza place called hells pizza. Its the best ever...all the pizzas are called the 7 sins and things like that and on the box you get there is a cut out cofin (like a happy meal box, you kinda put it together) and it says 'for your remains' excellent.
we finally got a fan heater for our flat, its better than nothing cus its soooooo cold now.
im working in heaps of different place at the mo, all not to bad. i work 7 am till 10am in one place all the time, which is just awful to get up for....but i am managing to get up ok, havent been anywhere close to late...as i have to get a really early bus to the place...at 6:20. i work on the 24th floor there and its very POSH its called the majestic center. im like a trolley dolly, i take round little food things to the offices!

OMG COLDPLAYS ON! mwuhahahahaaaaaa!!!!!

We're off to Glastonbury in the morning, lets hope the sun shines. We're all set with wellies, waterproofs and sunsceen. They were absolutely swamped there(ross lied about the weather being lush lol), Vic said that some of the little pup tents were only showing 2" above the water. They have opened up some new fields for the tents to pitch on. However on saturday morning they say that 134,000 people were there and only about 2000 had left the site. They retented the ones that had lost their tents. Vic and Ross were fine because their tent was on a hill but the ones that were down near the stages (ie. like where you were last year) were ruined.
(becky talking) im debating wether or not to get fairy wings as i finally hav enuf money to get them, i dont think i will coz i wont hav anywhere to wear them so ill just get a t-shirt or something instead hehe.
anyways, how are u? hope you are well and all that(u probly get that every time someone sends u an email/text/letter etc. 'how are you?' 'hope you are well' lol) right now on t.v we are watching a fairly good band called kasabian on the other stage, they arent bad but not my kind of music, more ur kind me thinks lol.
well we betta get going, gotta go to bed early so we can get up nice and early to get in front of the queues hehe.

Great to see all your photos! We're missing you loads at Guides - it doesn't seem right doing all the summer outdoor stuff without you. We had a great time flying big kites on the beach last week with the guys from the UFO kite shop. Our camp this year has a celtic theme, with the patrols having tribe names. Not sleeping in roundhouses though!!! but hopefully lots of good craft stuff to do as well as the outdoor activities.

Tara's going to Glasto on Sunday - the rest of us will catch up with it on the telly.
Keeping having fun - we'll need all your adventure stories to keep us going through the winter after Tara sets off on her travels - she goes on 5th Nov.

ross phoned me this morning when the white stripes were on i hate you! i dont care if its minus 1000 degrees and up to our head in mud i would still go to glastonbury if i could(it would still be warmer than our flat is anyway!!!) they are bringing out a film about glasto next year! im sure download will be good, i suppose it will have to sustitute for glasto next year. i would LOVE to go to the lions game but unfortunatly the ticket cost about 120 bucks.....so i will have to go without. Actually that price is for a small game like lions vs wellington...so for lions v allblacks it will be more. so we will be in the pub shouting and cheering. PLEASE GOD LET US WIN!!!! it will be horrible here if we loose. poor bec hope shes ok. you will love glasto in your wellies mummy. has elaine got some???!

i have no money!!!! i have no money because i went to see you, but i think the near bankruptcy was worth it! pay day is so far away, and i owe most of it to owen already! the thunder storm was ace, i loved it! nearly rode to work in it too! luckily it stopped before i set off. i still got a good soaking though. better than slurping about in the mud at glastonbury! download was so much better than last year. you'll love it next year, vix wants to come too! you can take her to see Ville Valo! Hi babe! yes Vics at Glastonbury. They went last night in blazing sunshine. However they have woken up tp torrential rain and the most horrendous thunder storm, fork lightening, the works. you would love it, i'm sure but not the best start to Glastonbury. They are forecasting more and maybe even hail stones! Viv wasn't going to take her wellies because the weather was so hot, just walking boots. Luckily I suggested that if she was taking boots at, all wellies were more useful so they went in at the last minute.
Sunday is supposed to be nice again, but as everything will probably be muddy it so looks like my flowery wellies will come in useful after all.I was going to wear them anyway but I would have looked a bit of a wally with the heat wave we've had lately!
What did you do at a greek funeral. Do they pin money on like they do at a wedding or throw plates?
I'm glad you're enjoying yourself again, is there any chance you could get to see the rugby live? I know Tim in the market would be soooooooooooooooo jealous if I told him you were at a match.
Bec had a great time at T4 on Sunday. Although she ended up with burnt shoulders and spent Tuesday being sick because she had too much sun. Next time she will know to "listen to mother" and cover up. I think she'll make sure for Glastonbury.
Good to hear that you are keeping up with your culinary skills. Keep practicing egg, bacon, saus and chips so that you up to par for when you get back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TFI friday! weekend off yay! i worked many hours today. how is you all? you are at glastonbury now you nasty people, watching white stripes....hate you. hate you. Ross just phoned me as im writing this from glastonbury.....GRRRRRRR!!!!!! i dispise you intensly. im soooo jealous. But hey, im in nz!! ha! i have done heaps of cool stuff. and im going to fiji......OH BUT WHITE STRIPES. i would rather be at glastonbury festival than anywhere in the world. i belong there! with the hippy freaks! god dam. im going to dso something cool tomorrow, just to make up for it.
where im tewmping at the mo are taking the company out for cinema....we are going to watch madagascar for free AND the best part........free candy bar and free bar!!!!! YES!!!! so thats cool. lions vs all blacks tomorrow night!
yesterday i was playing house.....i made some cakes and cooked dinner for lizzie, very good i thought...i had no scales for measure mixture, so i guessed...came out real good! also i made cauli flower cheese from scratch!!!!! we overdosed on veggies last night too it was great! i love brocoli! Im off home to see Hope and maybe get some sleep! if we beat the all blacks it will be such a brilliant time in nz the kiwis will morn for months if they lose HAHAHA! they call us the barmy army dontyou know and they have heaps of adverts about the things brit do and bought to NZ..it aint funny! k best go love you xx

THANKYOU i had not a bad one actually. work was pretty awful. but i managed to work handing out fliers cash in hand. so got 20 bucks and enough for a few drinks down the pub! also the lions won again so i was happy as. Lizzie was cool she bought me a card with a pukeko on (its a bird here which i love) and a muffin for my cake. Im easily pleased you know! thankyou fo my PJs mum and nan now i can sleep and be as warm as toast...snug as a bug in a rug!

HORAY! the first test is saturday... lions vs all blacks and you sall better pray to god we win....it wil be practically unbearable if we lose dont you know!!!! so we will be have a wee drinky than! im trying to settle in to wellie, but its a bit strange. buses do my head in! still im having fun and im not taking the work seriously anymore...i mean i do my best but i aint going to worry about it!!! BLOWEM'! Today i have been away from home 9 months!!!! im so proud. Ok off to shop for food. BYE!
