hello all!

we have been having an amaing time the last few weeks. first we went to port mcquarie-never heard of it but wanted to stop as they have wild koalas everywhere-and they did!!! we stayed at the best hostel ever also the staff were so nice! and dan the manager took us out to see some kangeroos! and tony the owner took us to get ice cream! was so nice and so much fun they had a pool table that didnt have the pockets in so you had to jump out the way when someone got a ball in! so funny! anyway when we were there we met some great people and we all went out to find the koalas in the trees! and we did lots of them and water dragons and sooooo many bats the whole sky went black! sadly we had to leave port but it was so good we had an amazing time!

into sydney next via our fav bus the greyhound! not! :) but anyway got there at midnight and the tube had stopped so had to pay for a taxi! so anoying but couldnt walk as it was miles away. got to our smelly hostle, and in the morning decided to move else where. we had been told about the same hostle all down the east coast so went to the wake up in the centre of sydney which was lovely. 1st few days in sydeny was just wondering around looking at all the sights it was so strange seeing the opera house for real! we went to the museum and to the botanic gardens to have a picnic with the cockatoos very strange! and when we were in the gardens the 2nd biggest ship arrived into the harbour it was huge couldnt fit under the bridge there were helicopters everywhere so look on the news we waved at a few lol the ship had to turn around which was amusing to watch! and last night we had kangeroo steak!!!! was so cheap and we had to try it! it was lovely so tasty and a lovely treat from pasta and sauce! after our steak we went into sydney at night to see the opera house all lite up it was lovely! today we are going to go to melbourne which we have been told is better then sydney so cant wait!
