Hey Guys! Your last blog and photos had me wanting to pack bags, and lie on the beach rather than stay and freeze in Tassie! You both look so relaxed and you're meeting so many people, it looks like you're really adapting to the lifetyle which is great!

Knowing that I will never be able to take a trip like this, your blogs and photos are the next best thing. I admire you both for taking so many daring adventures, staying in unknown places, etc. My biggest regret in life is not doing things like this so have fun, keep those blog postings coming in and enjoy this trip so I can enjoy it with you both. I wish I could hook you up with my school so kids could see that there is life outside of SC!!
Have fun and be safe!!

Hi Guys!
yay! another photo update, nice work guys. Your Ko Samui and Ko Phangan pics bring back so many memories of my trip over there with Cody, especially those roads with massive ruts! We stupidly drove a Jeep down one of those roads and almost got bogged.
I hope Nikki's foot gets better soon, and Sammy looks so young now that he's shaved Wolverine!!! haha.. Also big fan of the rock photography, they make the best tripods!
I look forward to reading abou the latest update soon!
Take care, Rowie

Looks like you had a great time in Phuket, looking forward to the next blog

Travelers!
I'm loving the blog, it's awesome! I've also got maximum respect for Sammy's Wolverine facial, very impressive... I'll be keeping an eye on it in future galleries!
Sorry to hear about your video camera, however I guess it's less of a loss being at the start of your trip where you didn't have a great deal of content on it (unless you backed it up to your pc). If you lost it near the end of your trip it would have been far worse.
Good to see familiar faces meeting up in Thailand, the travel bug is strong in me and I wish I could join you guys, but the bank balance and uni currently prohibits such fun for little Rowie.
Anyway, all the best!

Greetings from down under!
That little eeeeeeeeeePC has seriously paid for itself, fine effort on the blog updates and photos! I also like the way you both take it in turns to write paragraphs on the blog, distinguishable via person referencing.
It's nice to see another freak out there doing strange things with lamp posts and cameras and keeping the geek factor alive with gadgets! Go Michael!
I have to comment on your 7km day hike though. The old expression "ain't no mountain high enough" doesn't apply when you're carrying 20kg backpacks and then run out of coin for a super loo! Take it easy over there and don't push yourselves too hard!
In local news, I had my 3 month probation review and kept my job. So I survived the increasing unemployment rate, for now! I've just finished my 1st term of uni and have an exam next Wednesday, so in the books this weekend, not fun. Big party next weekend tho, so looking forward to that!
In other brief news, Mt Buller is opening this weekend due to a freak 35cm drop. Lift tickets at $20 per day. The earliest the resort has ever been opened, with the previous opening record being the 16th of May. So yeah, Melbourne is FREEZING right now!
Take care and enjoy the sun, beaches, sights and scenes, Ro
