Arrived in New York! So after a five hour bus drive down to Atlanta and then nearly getting stranded at the synagogue where we dropped the kids off, I managed to catch my flight to New York. I've woken up with bruises and shoulder blades that feel like they've been battered. This is the result of my deep tissue massage which was meant to relax me before my trip! The elbows in my bum hurt most then the clicking my shoulder blades in and out comes a close second. I do genuinely feel better for it though and my back definitely hurts less. Sam had a day off and so invited me out to dinner to Sticks and Stones. Already an advocate of Mellow Mushroom - their competitor - I wasn't sure what to expect! It was good. The pizzas were huge, we had plenty to take home, and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately I mistook anchovies for artichokes again and didn't realise I ordered a fishy pizza.
