hey everyone...Just a quick post to let you know that we are still up and running on our adventure. We are currently relaxing in Auckland for a few days (we did visit Tauranga a few days ago - its where ruth's mom was born! - cool eh). Over the last week or so, we've been in the midst of a mini tropical storm that was on our tails on our journey southwards, but we kept going. Some of the worst flooding for yonks! Hi everyone! Wow what a day we've just had. Last night we found this amazing camping area after about 10kms of dirt track and it was free!! Woke up to an amazing view of Matai bay over the sea and beach with hardly any other people about. THen we had the most fun ever for 2 dollars as we got a kite a few days ago and had its maiden adventure this morning on the beach. boy did she fly...... It run away from us twice, so imagine us two running down the beach af...

Ki Ora (greetings) from NZ!We are now in the city of Auckland. Flew here from Sydney yesterday and on our first evening here we wnet up the Sky Tower to see cool views of the city. It's about 630 feet high (it's the thing in the picture). it was v.cool at night.We're finding NZ very different from Oz its a lot colder, greener and quieter.
