Today we went to the top. Took the gondola and skiid in some wonderful places. We filmed Finn for his GCSE project and Patrick wiped out a mogel field. There seems to be no stopping him. Having said all that I wiped out on a perfectly flat piece of snow in from of a queue of people getting on a chair lift. I lay there for a while as if dead not sure why it happened. I suppose I will never know. Perhaps it was the result of having had a satisfiying lunch. The sun ...

Discovered today that 'blog' in French is masculine! Ie. Le blog. Surprised me but still. Also discovered that Patrick when skiing seems to be colour blind. Only sees red and black and misses the blue runs. Now faster than me and really enthusiastic. Lots of rain, hail and snow today so while the nursery slopes are looking quite bare (should have brought my clubs), there is fresh snow up top. Great day today. Patrick went to his first ever ski school. No individual coaching from this point on. Apparently he wanted to go fast but he would lean back. I skiid with him in the afternoon and he is faster than me and nearly wiped me out. We had a nice swim in the hotel pool this afternoon. Drinkies time now. The girls downing the G&Ts big time.
