After leaving Naracoorte, we headed south to the big town in this area, Mt Gambier. The plan was to hire a car and drive along the great ocean road but a problem with our car rental company meant we had to leave the car and we got a bus to Melbourne instead. Not before we had to spend a night in the jail! No mum we didnt get arrested but the hostel for the town is the old jail complete with cells! Was an experience and not one for the clostraphobics! We also saw the rest of the town including an aborginal gallery which had some really decorative things in it.
