A short ride into Esperance and we were finally 1) in a small town with population over 50 and 2) this town has the most beautiful and picturesque beaches we've seen! Time was on our side - we were ahead around 1.5 hours given the Timezone crossings, we had a few hours to explore Esperance. Gav decided on a nap, run and check out the town centre while Ros and Pol ventured into Cape Le Grand National Park. Cape Le Grand is really grand! Ros and Pol ventured atop Frenchmans Peak - what a steep and strenuous climb (more so for Pol as Ros is very fit). We went on australias whitest beach and most stunningly blue water and met some Roos! On the way back to camp, we also met some Roos on the road too!
