Just went to Vatican very. Impressive , one has to see them selves , it's the biggest single roof building in the world now going to colussim , walked through the streets of Rome , with guide , I feel quite safe here , we even used a ATM , , lots of photoes ,a dinner tonight some where . Then going to the south of Rome then on to the cruise ship for 10 days , that will be more relaxing for Eileen , she starting to bend a bit
The Romans seem to be very patient drivers , or forgiving , they blow the horn a lot but it only seems when some one does something stupid , they give way to each other all the time. I watched many situations , one girl tcut right across 3 lanes to get a car park over there , no one tooted her , she just put her hand out the window and went Accros lots of situations .
One of the buildings we were in , the biggest dome in the world but the floor is the original , marble. Over 2000 years old , 20.000 people go through there a day . 30 to 40.k go through the Vatican. Each day , we are on a tour no queues one seas al lot more and saves hours defiantly the way to go
Really good night again at the restrarant all lots types of food put on your plate , I here 25 ,plus dresser & beer wine and shots as much as you want . Eileen and I drank over 2 bottles of wine , went to Trevino fountain as well where you throw a coin over your left shoulder & make a wish . A lot of pushy people there selling there stuff , but quite safe , I like the Roma people , they can't do enough for you. Except the black ones not very nice . I'm not just being racist , that's just a fact.
We have seen a lot in a short time , going to the south of Roma today then getting on the cruise ship . Sunny again today the weather had been unbelievable
