We set our GPS to guide us to the Corvette museum in Bowling Green. We took some photos on the outside and Pat started talking to one of several men who had their Corvettes parked out front. They were part of a club from Illinois who had traveled to Kentucky to visit the museum and tomorrow the manufacturing plant. This is the only Corvette plant in the world. They even have it that if you buy a new Corvette, part of the price includes airfare to the plant where you visit the museum and plant and pick up your car and drive it home.
The museum is located in a 68.000 square-foot superstructure featuring an amazing 11 story-high skydome. It is a living chronicle of the Corvette and the people who have made it a legend. It features an everchanging collection of more than 70 dream Corvettes from rare classics to famous race cars to exotic experimental models.

The man that Pat was talking too really wanted me to sit in the car. He put the top down and as Pat snapped photos he offered (insisted on) taking me for a ride.
After the museum, we found a White Castle where Pat really enjoyed his lunch.
We stopped in a town and did find some antique stores open and then returned to Cave City where we went to the ones that were now open. We did not end up buying anything.
We found the Pavilion where there is wireless Internet service. Here I was able to check my e-mails and was very excited to have a couple from Brenda (my photography partner) in Casey County. We had our dinner and I am preparing to watch the "Desperate Housewives" 2-hour finale. It will then be off to bed early because we have to get up at 4 a.m. for our big day tomorrow.
