Sydney at last!

This really made it come home to me that i was in Australia. The symbolic opera house and Harbour bridge are fantastic! The weather for the most has been brilliant here, with only a few days of rain.

It has been and i think will remain one of the best cities ive visited. There is such a good variety of things to do. Spending time on manly beach surfing or visiting its various wineries all around sydney.

Needless to say i did them all. Spending 3 weeks in sydney has been great. I started with trips out to the blue mountains where the famous three sisters peaks are. Then visiting a number of vineyards in the Hunter valley region, with free taste tests ofcourse.

Spending xmas on Bondi beach was certainly an odd experience. It was fantastic weather with great surf. The water here is crystal clear!

New years was spent watching the best firework display in the world over the harbour bridge. It was definatley worth it.

From Sydney ive headed north still staying in new south wales to byron bay.

Here i learnt how to surf properly and then spent a few days with a hired surf board out on the sea. It turns out am a pretty good surfer. Who would have thought it! Byron Bay is a place for hippies and lots of them. Not my cup of tea persay but a fun experience all the same.

Anyway next stop is Brisbane. Howvever its the rainy season in Brisbane now so not holding out much hope for good weather.
