Ah...but James has missed the most important result of the night Robin. As a fervent Welshman-- born in Chirk--you'll be sad to learn that Mark Hughes' men slumped to a 3-2 defeat against Poland at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. It was Sparky's last game in charge of the national side. Poland came from a goal down to win this world cup qualifier. Can't face going into work tomorrow to face the smirks of those English **************! Mum sends her sympathy too. Iech-y-Dda!

Hi Robin. Result from Old Trafford, Saturday, England 2 - Wales 0. I'm afraid the Welsh just weren't good enough. Sunday - Schumacher won the Japanese Grand Prix, again (boring!). Getting very autumnal here, makes me even more envious of you! Keep the news coming.

Hey, great to get all the messages! Things fine here, had a lazy weekend then spent the last couple of days working at the Perth Royal Show as a charity collector. Not the most fun job, but fairly good money. Going on another trip down south tomorrow, getting a 'jump-on-jump-off- bus ticket that lets us go down the coast to Albany and back to Perth, getting on and off whenever we want. Will probably take a couple of weeks, but we'll see. Should still be able to get online though. It'll be weird to have my birthday in some small hostel in a village on the south coast of Australia! I've added a few photos, and put captions to the others. They're only ones of Perth Zoo, but figured why not. Keep the messages coming!

Hi Rob, I hope you're keeping well and having a great time. It sounds as though you're just about bearing up!!! Now that you're a qualified diver I'll take you to one of England's inland dive sites when you get back just to prove that there's more to scuba diving then the clear warm waters of the Pacific!!!! When I went last year the water temperature was 6 degrees - I bet that makes you jealous - NOT!!!!!!!!
Anyway enjoy yourself and whatever you do, DON'T go to see the film 'Open Water' - its a true story about 2 divers who get left behind by the boat and get eaten by bull sharks. I came very close to selling all my scuba gear and never going in the water again. Have a good time and drop us a line when you can.

moved to hampstead 2 weeks ago, enjoying KCL muchly, all the people are wicked, and the scene is just slightly more lively than shrewsbury. having a really good time - i'll email you properly as soon as i get to a computer. (got lost in the library TWICE yesterday...i knew i shouldn't have skived the tour!)

Hi Rob, Glad your having a fab time, dying to hear all about the diving - have you been into open water yet? Gab's went scuba diving last week but only in a pool, Phil is diving at Stoney cove today, I know where we'd rather be blowing bubbles though and it isn't in a cold murky lake here!!!!! Your photos look great. We're all doing fine here, Sarah loves school and has decided that she's ready to be 5 now as she feels like a grown up school girl! New treatment going well Phil is having great fun injecting me, he keeps trying to convince me to let him inject me in the temples!!!! Gracie is settleing in well, she's such a cute little pup.
