HAPPY NEW YEAR all. Hope you all had a good one, I was out in Melbourne watching the firewroks and trying to stop a fight, which was all fun... I tried to send text messages to quite a lot of people, but don't think they got through. If anyone gets one a week late, then sorry!
James
Hey Robin. Hope you had a great New Year. Charlie and I had a crazy party down here in Devon (actually we didn't go out in the end!). Put up some party photos on the site if you have them so we can appreciate Christmas and New Year down under. Hope you had a suitable BBQ on Christmas Day and enjoyed a sunny day. We had a bit of snow so it goes down as a white Christmas. Will speak to you soon and will be back in London next week and on email again. Let us know about your plans and if we can help set you up in Sydney then we will speak to Ricky and Tsumi. Take Care. J&C.

Happy hangovers everybody! Hope you all had a good christmas. Against expectations, we had a really good day. Now recovering for what has been quite a heavy few days, my body and my bank balance needs some time to recover (until new year of course). Enjoyed speaking to the people of Shropshire on christmas day (radio interview, luckily hadn't started drinking at that point). Anyway, hope you are all well, keep in touch.

Hey Robin! Merry Christmas (sorry its a little late!) Hope you had a nice day with lots to eat and drink! I'm guessing you didn't get any snow(?!) nor did i :o( but i had a nice day anyway! Now trying to convince myself that public holidays is a valid reason for not doing any work.... I'm back in Leeds for new year, maybe i'll see some snow up there! Have you guys got any plans? Have a good one- all the best for 2005! take care, Anne x

Just coming to the end of Christmas Day...Was good hearing you on the radio this morning. John was so pleased to hear from you at 4.30 am because he was the only one in the building preparing news bulletins for the morning. It is snowing so heavily here that he has decided to go back into the radio station now and sleep there ready for the morning. He left half an hour ago clutching sleeping bags etc. but he has to go as emergency services use the radio station for any problems that need broadcasting, and they can put out weather forecasts and road closures etc. So its been a rather strange Christmas Day here...anyway have a good time...glad you had a good Christmas Day. Speak soon L.Y.L mxx

Dear Robin,
Merry Christmas! James and I are at Mum and Dad's in Devon now. The turkey has been purchased and the booze quota is sufficient. We are off to the local pub tonight with all my old school friends which should be loads of fun for James! Had a lovely couple of days in Shropshire earlier in the week, all is well there. We went for a curry in Chirk with your dad and lunch at the Sweeny with your mum, so am at least a few pounds heavier! Nain was on good form and Bobby chewed my arm. Hope all is well with you and Simon. Enjoy the Happy seven hours and free food on Christmas day. we will try and phone at some point. Can you let us know when you might be heading to Sydney so that we can rally the troops? Take care, love C xxx

Just checked and see that I managed to spell Guiness incorrectly...back from Ireland where we had a great time...cold there but even colder here with some snow flakes falling today. James and Charlie are here and James has brought his new toy...a Korg piano. I'm VERY envious as it's all singing and dancing with some amazing sounds. Off to A.J.'s tomorrow but will be back on Wednesday. It's carols in the square so thought I would go.....hope all is well. Love from all here mxx

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Hope all is well, I'm attempting to get into the christmas spirit as it doens't feel at all festive over here at the moment. Still, our hostel has 7 hours of happy-hour prices in the bar on christmas day, as well as a free lunch, so I'm sure I'll be feeling a bit more merry after that...

Just getting ready for the Radio Shropshire Christmas night out....then tomorrow off to Dublin. It's lovely out there at this time of year. Dublin is buzzing. The atmoshere is great - roaring fires - live music in the pubs - and Giuiness! ...and Tony and Bernie who are great to be with...I hope you get chance to enjoy some Christmas music, even if you're not paid! The piano has been tuned and yet again Eddie has tried to sell me a Steinway...I wish! Anyway speak when I get back..have a great time and keep winning the pool competition!mxx
