Hey all. Well, today I fly back to the UK! It is the weirderst feeling, but looking forward to being back. I'm in Rio de Janeiro at the moment, so have enjoyed sitting on Copacobana beach etc. South America and the whole trip has been amazing, looking forward to telling you all about it in person! Si - hope all is well with you, and Fiji was cool. Enjoy Hawaii (lucky...).
Simon
...and it was a good job we weren't in Oz with that cricket score!!

Thought I would take this opportunity to write what will probably be the last message for me on this message board. We are just over a week away from your return and as we are away from Saturday this will be my last opportunity to use a computer.
It is hard to believe that James set this up for you nearly a year ago. It has been such a great way for everyone to keep in touch with you and Simon and share in your exciting journey. Now it is nearly time for it to end. Safe journey home...enjoy your last week...take care L.Y.L.xxx

Hola, que tal de Buenos Aires, Argentina, home of a half decent football team and good, cheap steaks. All is well here, walking around with Andrew Lloyd Weber stuck in my head! Wish I had longer here, as there's lots to see, and the food is so cheap! Suppose I can't complain too much though. Hope all is well.
Robin
Hola! Just a quick message to say I've arrived in Chile. Santiago seems like a nice enough place. It's a bit dirty and run down, but has a great character. Lots of street theatre, stalls etc. Adios.
Robin
Quick message to say hope nobody who has friends/family in London has had bad news. It's all over the news here too, very good coverage of the events, reports etc. Will email a general update of what I've been up to soon.

In official mourning after the Lions defeat. We're going to get so much grief! They put the Union Jack at half mast at the ski slopes on Sunday! Loving skiing, doing a 5-day package, a lesson each day. Happily tearing down the blue (intermediate) runs now, yet to injure myself seriously so until that point I find falling over quite funny! Might try a black run before I finish...

Hay fella!!! Can't believe you're still galavanting around the s. hemisphere. Its been far too long! Anywho, just a quick note to say hi before i rush off to work. Me n jus were talking about how much next year's gonna be with you back in amongst the throng. Dont know if you're keeping in touch with the cricket/wimbledon, but i'd imagine australia was a fun place to be the last few weeks for a brit!!! I support Bangladesh anyway. Look after yourself my friend, gaz

Dear Robin, Sorry to have been so rubbish at keeping in touch. James and I have been manic with work and wedding preparations. I had a week off last week and headed back to Devon to do some work in the garden, I am covered in bruises and scratches and had a dodgy gardeners tan, luckily my hen's whisked me away to France for the weekend. We had a great weekend!! Your photos are fab and certainly giving me the travel bug again. Have fun in South America and let me know if you need any recommendations (probably best to use my work email as I am struggling to have much of a life outside work). Lots of love your sister in law to be, Char xx
