So excited during GP meeting at KSS London deanery about trip to Jakarta. Froze on tube ride to Heathrow Just standing in line to board Singapore flight. Even if there is nothing to do in Jakarta it will be an experience .., I know the flight will be horrid at the back of the plane. Oh well.

Wing of747 had to be de-iced so late departure. Then moved to first class as connection at Singapore tight. Offered Champagne just before landing. Shame I don't like morning drinking! ( I suppose local time it is 1700 so perhaps it would have been ok) Arrived in Jakarta - delighted that robert was there to meet me. Awful traffic from airport. quick martini and bed!
