Hey guys. Hope all is well at home. Arrived in Penang on the 5th and went to stay in Georgetown for 4 nights. Was definatly the nicest city so far, busting with culture and architecture!!!! Spent our time sightseeing, visiting lots of temples, seeing Penang Hill railway - old british cable car thing, honestly think we could of walked quicker! The view at the top though was amazing - could see the whole city scape. One temple we saw, had just had a gazebo thing built on it, looks amazing, was the Kek Lok Si temple i think. google it, it rocks. Hostel was sweet too, in a nice old building. Saw quite a few statues of buddahs - they were HUGE!! Made me feel even smaller than i already am. LOL! Went to the Botanic Gardens on our last full day. Was a nice walk but nothing to shout about. Saw a few lizards and giant spiders - which weren't nice at all (spiders). Kuala Lumpur next!
