Mancs on Tour
Hello all
Have been very busy since the last update. After leaving Queenstown we headed south for Milford sound. Absolutely stunning fjiord on which we took a really nice two hour boat ride. We then visted the fox and franz josef glaciers which we absolutely amazing. We went right up to the terminal ice face. We then spent a couple of days chillin on the beach on at Marahau before heading to Kaikoura to check out the seals. We crossed over to the north island and spent a night in windy Wellington before heading to Tongariro national park where we did a six hour hike passing through two active volcanoes and crossing some huge craters. The scenery was spectacular (Mordor from the LOTR). We are currently at lake Taupo (biggest lake in NZ - formed by a massive volcanic eruption 26,000 yrs ago). Yesterday we did another skydive (Rob actually did two in one day!_- couldnt resist as it was only 80 quid. It was absolutely amazing the second time as knew what to expect and took everything in. Also we did a back flip out of the plane. I have found my second home (the sky). I am absolutely addicted to it and have totally confronted my fear of heights. Tomorrow we are off to Rotoroa (thermal activity capital of NZ - full of geysers, vents etc). Take care all. Xx
