Hi folks I have just arrived in San Pedro in the Atacama desert in the north of Chile and what a place this is. It is a small town in the middle of bloody nowhere but is really cool with lots of funky bars and restaurants. I have spent the last week learning to snowboard and can proudly state that i am now able to ride. It was so much fun but i am in a lot of pain now from using muscles that have been neglected for a while. Whilst in San Pedro i am hoping to visit the Valley of the Moon and the tatio geysers (4am start!!!) before heading over the salares (salt flats) into Bolivia. I may even try the sandboarding depicted on the postcard now i am a snowborad chick. Hope all is well at home. Not long to go now. Iam back in blighty in 7 weeks!!!!!!!!! Carlaxx
