Ilha Grande is a paradise island!!!!!! We had a ball. It is the most chilled out place I have ever been to. We made some very special friends, with locals who will be in my thoughts for ever. I never ever thought that I would love an island as muchas I loved Ilha Grande. I was a little emotional when i left. The main beach there is rated in the top 5 in the world and I would agree. It is just amazing, there is nothing onthe beach at all but sand and sun bathers. We did have a incident that was emotional. We saw a 22 year old ozzy girl go insane. The result was her getting sectioned in Rio. It was an awefull experience which I do not want to see again. I do not know Tamara but I do hope that she is better soon. She was very lucky that she had people around her that cared for her, even tho they did not know her. I would like to think that I will go back there, and see my friends. I think that we helped the bar economy as well as we got lashed every night. As you can see from the photos there were messy events for sure. Apart from meeting the locals the hostel we were at was excellent, this is were I met some wicked people form all over the world. You can see them on the photos, in Ilha Grande and also Rio
