Hi folks Just arrived in the Amazon basin from the most gorgeous tropical paradise called Coroico where i spent 3 days recovering from mountain biking down the worlds most dangerous road. And it was. 3500m descent over 80km and i have never been so scared in my life. The road is so narrow and full of sand and rocks that death is almost a certainty. But i survived. Apparently they only lose one or two cyclists a year but on average one bus every two weeks goes off the edge. Suffice to say i have just booked a flight back to la Paz!!!!!!! I leave for a five day tour of the jungle and pampas tomorrow where i will get to see lots of animals and swim with pink dolphins and fish for pirahna amongst other things. I am really excited. This place is truly wonderful. I love it. Hope all is well back home. Will be seeing you very shortly. Carla xx
