Arrived in La Paz this afternoon after an 18 hour bus ride from Santa Cruz. When i first saw this place it literally took my breath away coming in on the bus. Well I actually arrived into Bolivia with no problems at all. I entered via Chile, and ventured on a three day jeep tour of the salt flats of Bolivia. I am in Love with this country. I have been down a working mine, blown up a boulder ( yes I actaully did get the dynamite, detonator, and blow the thing up, whilst in the mine), and ended up in LA Paz which Ilove a lot.
