Hi all Arrived at the end of the world last night. Ushuaia is the southernmost town on the globe. The only further south you can go is the research stations in Antartcia. Its a really nice place. Set on the beagle channel through which Darwin sailed all those years ago and surrounded by the Fuegian Andes. Its got a really funky vibe with some cools bars and the hostel is really trendy. Seems so out a place in such an isolated region. I met a great scottish girl on the bus so i am planning to hang out here with her until monday when i head to Torres del Paine national park in Chile to trek. This afternoon we are going on a cruise down the Beagle channel to see the penguins which i am really excited about. We are also planning to trek to the local glacier at some point.
