Saturday 11th April We bought an all day ticket for the trams, which went past the hotel. The trams are the most convenient way of getting round the city. Monday 30th March We flew into Cairns airport at about eight in the morning. The view from the plane was surprising, we had expected the ground to be brown and dry, instead it was very green.
