Karijini NP has some great spots including this place, Fern Pool. The kids were entertained by a half cut bloke from Port Headland who was feeding the fish and catching them in his hands.

Broome, Western Australia
Sunset on Cable Beach, as the sun drops into the sea, is a bit of a sight. Backing the truck up, sitting on the tray and having a few frosties enjoying the view was pretty memorable.
Broome, Western Australia
After a few weeks of bashing though the scrub, red dirt and and gorges of the Kimberley, we were well and truly ready for some coast so when we got to Broome, what was supposed to be a two night stay became a week. We stayed within 200m of Cable Beach which is a magnificent stretch of white sand and aqua blue sea.
Derby, Western Australia
This Boab tree is believed to be over 1000 years old and its ugly enough to be that aged. It's just outside Derby, in the West Kimberley and was used as a "holding cell" in the 1800s as criminals were transported to and from Derby.
Purnululu, Western Australia
It's a 50km goat track to get into the Bungles, including 40 odd creek crossings. It was worth it though - plenty of cracking sights inlcuding the very strange rock bee hives that are the signature attraction in the national park.
