Hey Everyone, Left California and are now in Vegas!

Very cool place, busy and in your face all the time!

We we're a bit suprised by the free porn mags on the street - in containers much the same as newspapers are and people on the street handing on Escort cards to anyone and everyone! hehe

Tuesday 9th February

Left LA to head to Vegas! Arrived at our hotel and headed out to explore the Strip. Checked out Sahara and bought some souvenirs. Had dinner in a really cool diner in our hotel - where the waiters and waitresses all sing. Tim had the biggest milkshake ever!

Wednesday 10th February

Walked up the Strip. Started at the Sahara and made our way through the Mirage, The Forum Shops, Bellagio, Ballys, MGM Grand, New York New York, Excalibur and Stratosphere. Had a look at the Miracle Mile (all shops) Had some brilliant cake in the Mirage (7 layers of Chocolate, between Tim and I). Thought Bellagio was really over rated and looks sort of tacky inside. Watched the Bellagio water show in the everning - which was incredible. Lasted about 5 minutes, The Hotel was lit up and the water moved in time with the music.

Thursday 11th February

Went to Sahara hotel in the morning to catch the Monorail up the strip and kept passing people winning loads of money. I had a go on the Deal or No Deal slots and won some money. The next guy who went after me lost $20 in about 5 mintues, if that. Some win, most lose I guess. Went on the the MGM Grand, Luxor and Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. In the evening we checked out the newest edition to the Strip - Wynn and Encore - the most amazing hotels and casinos. Wynn has it's own Ferrari Dealership inside and heaps of expensive shops. The decor inside in amazing! So beautiful!

Off early tomorrow morning, heading to San Fransisco. Overall Vegas was brilliant! Just wished we had a bit more time and money to check out the Cirque De Soleil shows, but on the other hand.. more time would have meant more temptation to gamble.. perhaps it's a good thing we're leaving..
