How much are you paying for your taxi per day because we only paid £8.00 per day when we went to Goa but we expect it will be dearer now. It is hot here and we are having a BBQ tonight. We are going to Taiwan end July beginning of August to see your Dad and if you come we will treat you all to a night on the town and a meal and a shower! Be careful but above all enjoy yourselves. Hi guys, i'm pleased you arrived ok and enjoying yourselves despite the heat!! You'll have to get used to it for the next 3 months! we are sti8ll standing, sweating like hell. our trip to india have been worthwhile. its totally different here, its like you look at a life you never seen before. everything is completly different here, the only same thing would be seeing macdonalds and dolminos pizza, ha! we havent had any, the hotel is great, not too sure about the loos.

visited loads of places, i feel like aliens here, have people taking a picture of me, my god. But there are some helpful; and nice people here. the traffic is chaotic, nothing like you drivers in england.

off to agra tomorrrow to see the taj mahal, we are having our own taxi driver for 10 days, how great is that, gosh u need it here. the prices are so cheap. will be in touch missing you all!

Seriously must have sweat buckets today!!! One thing about India is that all the men are right perverts, one man on his motorbike almost crashed eyein us up, serves him right lol!!! It is a culture change, nice to finally see the Geography waffle Miss Ogg used to go on about, realised we have such a wicked life in the Uk and we take it for granted..
Enjoying the challenge so far! we re off tmw morning at 8am for the taj mahal, ending our stay in India in Goa, then Sri Lanka beckons!!

Hey guys, mum.

Arrived here ok, its been a bit hetic so far, especially on the roads, couldnt belive how they drive! we been sightseeing around Delhi today and off to Agra, Jaipur, udjaiper, Mumbai, Goa etc tomorrow, hopefully it'll be worth the journery! From Goa to Delhi is 36hours on the Train!!

The weather is soooo hot, 45 degrees! i know.. humid! The people here dont think its hot, cant belive that when they told me!!

Hey guys!!! Phew, what a first couple of days in Delhi!! We've not stop laughing all the way thru and them indian people wont stop laughing at us either!! Dunno why!! Delhi is full of chaos!
Anyway, we've done all the 'must see' sights in Delhi today, all the beautiful temples, not so beautiful but spooky tombs of kings and princesses etc, the magnificant government buildings etc etc!! Taken loads of fotos already :-)! We've just got back from dis famous temple and we've got them red spots on our foreheads! True India!
Enjoying ourselves so far!! Missing u all already! We're off to Agra first thing tomorrow morning to see the Taj Mahal.. Woo hoo! Becks xx

Ah! You must be in India right now... I'm gonna be so envious of you all especially if you are being surrounded by baby elephants with those tiny soft hairs on the head!! (cows!) Thank goodness I've found this wonderful motto... Believe me, this motto is well agreed:- "There is no place more delightful than home", quoted by Marcus Tullius Cicero, (106-43 BC) --Roman senator, speaker, and philosopher... Knowin' you won't be home for a long time! (shame!) Here I am, snuggling in my own bed! Mmm!! ;) Beware, you will be suffering with those horrendous mosquitoes through the nights!! *gasps* oh yes... & spiders, snakes... Hey! Kath here, Bec's Mum. Hope you arrived ok after your little hitch with the trains (delayed and had to get two taxis for £60 each from sheffield to Manchester airport! (for everyone elses info!)). Anyway by the time you read this you will have had your first sights of India hope you are amazed and not dissapointed! Anyway stay safe and girls please make sure bec has all of her bags, documents etc. whenever you move on! you know what she is like for losing things.
