Hey Guys!! Have finished Malaysia for good now, but we intend to go back someday to complete places like Borneo which we didn't have time for. What can we say about Kuala Lumpur-simply our favourite city in Asia, so it's a must visit city for you all!! We packed lots of activities into the two days we were there, went to the newly opened aquarium-don't laugh, it was good!! Went to the Petronas Towers, one of the wonders of the world, and walked across the bridge admiring the views of KL. Did a bit of shopping, of course! We're girls, what do you expect?! Also went to a shopping mall, where there was a theme park inside!!! We all went on it, including the rollercoaster-a first for us all! ;-) On the evening before we left, we went to the KL tower, where there was a rotating restaurant, stuffed ourselves silly while the whole restaurant rotated so we could see the views-wicked!! Then we made our way to the Tioman Islands, which on the first day was chucking it down with rain, and we had to make our way from Mersing to Salang on the Tioman Islands via speedboat-which was extremely bumpy! Had a nice time there, snorkelling and visiting other parts of the island, then on the last night, we made friends with people from Sweden, Mexico and England, exchanging our travelling tips-true backpackers now!! Now we are in Singapore, our last country in the far east!! J x
