Hi Folks, This week we have mainly been watchin whales, and we don\'t mean that lucky rugby nation! We\'re spending a few days on Vancouver Island in a tiny village called Tofino. After spending so much time in cities we needed a break to the quiet and seclusion of mother nature, you get it by the bucket load here. Yesterday we went Whale watching, over the past few weeks about 22,000 whales have headed up towards Alaska for the summer. A few grey whales have decided to stay around this area, so we headed out on a motor dinghy and were lucky enough to see 2 adult greys, one even flicked his/her tail out for us. (no photos though we were videoing). We also saw a colony of sea lions, for the next couple of weeks the males are fighting for territory to set up their harems of ladies!! (a bit like Broad Street, and it smelt of fish too!!!) Just off for a wander to a nearby beach, before heading off to Victoria, then onto Seattle on Tuesday. Will upload some photos asap. Love M&S XXX
