We finally arrived in OZ and considering it was nearing December it was hotter than ever! Kota Kinabalu was nothing like a capital, more like a small town but with markets and food stalls galore it had an excellent atmosphere. We jumped on a mini bus which we assumed would take us to the centre of KK but after blaring out RnB music through the streets for 20 minutes we seemed to end up pretty much where we started, so after one more bus ride we made it to the city centre and headed out to follow our noses to the food market.
