Hola! Arrived in Chile yesterday with no problems. The plane took around 11 hours. Was stuck in the middle aisle which is always bad but had a lot of movies to keep me occupied! From Santiago airport took the airbus to the city centre to find my accommodation. The hostel is cool, the building is an old mansion! Just relaxed in the hostel gardens yesterday and had an early night as was completely exhausted. Today im fit and well and ive been running around the city trying to see everything. Been round the centre with its many shops and old buildings. Its a really cool city- i wasnt sure of what to expect as its the capital but i like it. Went up the funicular to see the whole of santiago which is surrounded by snow covered mountains. Im not staying long in Chile as im going to spend more time in Argentina. I think i will go to a nearby city tommorrow before heading to Argentina in a couple of days. Its nice to be back in a hot climate and everything is so cheap! Anyway going to see a few more sights before i retire to the hostel! Ciao
