Ao Nang is a fairly large town in Krabi Province. Our main reasons for visiting were to find a cheap room with a hot shower (fail) and to go on a 5 island tour (pass). The journey down from Kanchaniburi to phuket was dreadful. 24hours overnight, changing buses whenever they fancied, waiting for the next bus to arrive for hours. It was painful.
