Today we were able to have another later start. It was foggy but not too cold so Nik and I sat on the deck for a little while before getting ready for the day. Our first full day of cruising started about the same as any other cruise with sleeping in and sitting on the balcony. Today we walked across the parking lot to Starbucks to grab pastries for breakfast. Then we loaded up the car and headed to Canada Place to check in for our cruise. Today was Canada Day and there was a big celebration going on at Canada Place and it was so crowded. It was once we got into the garage, it was a breeze to drop the luggage off and return the car. We started out our day today with breakfast at McDonalds just down the street. Then, after a quick stop at the hotel to pick up a few forgotton items, we headed toward Downtown Vancouver. We drove past the city and on to Capilano park to explore the Rainforest. The park is built on a hill in beautiful wooded area just outside Vancouver. There are three main attractions: the suspension brige, treetop adventure and cliff walk and all three give you the opportunity...

Our first day of vacation was fairly relaxing. We didn't have to be at the airport until 10 so we didn't have to rush to wake up.
