We had lazy morning this morning. We slowly packed up the van ready to go. Mandy's Mum and the kids were busy in the kitchen cooking my favorite birthday cake. We were having some issues with the hot water service in the van. I couldn't get a new thermostat in Hamilton but Jayco Horsham said they had one. From Mortlake we have headed up to Hamilton to catch up with Mandy's parents for the evening. Had to stop along the way for a famous Clarkes pie. Tomorrow we set off north. Haven't worked out where yet, just north.

We arrived at the farm I grew up on Friday evening. Dad and his best man Ivan were busy setting up the "motor house" for the anniversary lunch the following day. Mum was inside and very excited to see us all when we arrived. Saturday came around quickly and it we all enjoyed a lovely meal and celebration of Dad & Mum's 50th wedding anniversary. It was also great to catch up with Uncles & Aunts we hadn't seen for years.

It's been planned for quite some time now, however like most things in life we tend to leave everything until the last minute. The caravan sits in the driveway unpacked, two days before we leave. The kids are in bed so it's time to start getting things together......
