Colleen & Tom's Explorations
This morning we went to mass down in their little theatre, celebrated by an American priest. Then we went to brekky before returning to our cabin - still waiting for our safe to be repaired. At lunchtime we attended an art auction, where they plied us with free champers - very nice indeed! We managed not to buy any artworks (indeed, we have at least four from previous similar onboard events sill sitting in cardboard tubes in the ceiling, waiting to be framed). On one of my trips in the elevator, I met a lady from Winmalee. She said there was also a lady from Glenbrook. Small world! We went to afternoon tea and sat with some of the Bunniks crew (Dianne and Kerry, and Rod and Kay). Tom was less than impressed with the service, you'd think it was the first time they served afternoon tea. It seems there is a gastro bug going around. The passengers are not allowed to handle food unless it is on their plate. No more baskets of rolls on our tables, not even pepper and salt. It's pretty serious. They even gave us our own bottle of hand sanitiser. Our room steward creates little critters out of towels each night and leaves them on our bed when he does the turn down service.
