So word of advice: athletic wear is perhaps the least appropriate dress for travelling, unless you plan to wok out the whole time, on a sport court. Maybe you will occasionally young Americans wearing such around campus, but not in the city. And outside of America, no way. So the Plaka was really cool, got a recommendation to go to Thanasis and get a kebap: AWESOME! Beef sticks with grilled tomatoes. Then walked around... it's this really tightly packed shopping district, with good restaurants and cool stores. Otherwise, Athens is a modern capital city... not super interesting, and somewhat dirty. Went to the National Archeological Museum... Slept for an hour... i don't get pottery, but I guess it does tell the story of a civil...

Last day in Greece. Met some more Canadians last night and talked about American dominance. And an AUssie couple who had travelled the world, they had some interesting stories about Indian and Chinese weddings. And an Irish (Northern) girl who loved food, and spent like an hour telling us how awesome the food there is... chips with everything, My kind of place! So I forgot to add that the whole Acropolis is under reconstruction, so most buildings are dismantled, and covered with scaffolding.
