Glad to hear from everybody that you are having a wonderful time and storing up memories that will last the rest of your life. Hope you had a good birthday out there - were you involved in any particular extreme stunts on that day or did you content yourself with embibing death-defying amounts of alcohol?

I gather from you mum that you will be moving onto South America some time soon and I hope you have a fab time there. There seems to be a good chance that one or other of the countries you visit will be celebrating a World Cup win. You wil have heard of the grim times that England are suffering. Uncle Tony is convelescing after a hip operation, cunningly planned to coincide with the football and Wimbledon. We are total coach potatoes - Uncle Tony must rest his leg and I, of course, must be on hand to minister to him. Our palyers have put us through the mangle.
