Hello everyone, sounds very cold back at home, we will try and send some good weather home cos there's far too much of it over here!!! Still having an excellent time, was in Auckland for a while then travelled up north to the Bay of Islands and the very tip called Cape Reinga.
I tried my hand at sea fishing in the Bay of Islands but wasn't too successfull. Caught a white snapper but it was too small to cook, and also caught a cod (looked more like a catfish) and we couldn't eat that either. Cape reinga was also amazing, we literally stood on the very tip of new zealand where the two sea's (Pacific and Tasman) meet. It looked like a load of comotion with a white line along the middle as though they were crashing into rocks, and the coulor on each side was also different. We also tried sand boarding on these huge 80 metre high sand dunes next to the beach. Hope everything is ok back at home, will post a message again soon.
