Met a couple of girls from Florida on the ferry across to Samos and ended up at the same hotel as them. We thought we'd be able to catch a ferry direct from Naxos to Samos (island next to turkey), but since not peak season yet we had to go to Syros to get the ferry. Arrived in Syros bout 9:30pm and managed to get a room for 20 euros in the port (down from 25). From Santorini we caught an afternoon Blue Star Ferry (nice ferry) across to Naxos. Found a van waiting at the port for Maragas Camping on Agia Anna beach so went there. Sweet campground with lots of shade and the biggest perk for us was it had a fridge!
