Right I know its been ages, but we've been off exploring in our camper-van, so haven't had chance to update.
We flew into Melbourne on the 6th and spent a couple of nights in a hostel full of Irish people, before picking up our camper van on 10th. We set off on a road trip up to the Grampians national park and down along the great ocean road. It took us 4 days in total and was great fun. The first day we went to the Grampians national park, where we spent the most uncomfortable night so far. The following day we went for a walk to some really nice waterfalls and views of the national park, before heading down to Port Fairy and along to Port Campbell. All along the coast are some pretty impressive stacks and arches (even as a human geographer I was impressed) then we watched the sun set over the 12 apostles. The following day we continued along the great ocean road, where we stopped off at the round the twist light house!!.
Yesterday we picked Molly up which was pretty exciting, even if we did have to wait till everyone else had come through to find out she had lost her sleeping bag!! Eventually she turned up and after a few excited screams, we were heading back to the campsite for a few welcome drinks.
Today has been a pretty chilled out day. We spent the morning by the pool, then the plan is tonight to head into Melbourne, to an ice bar for drinks
