Having spent one night in Brisbane we made our way back to Surfers, where we booked ourselves in to a much needed hostel for a treat! We managed to hook up with Harry and Sam again, so we had a very messy night. After much goon was consumed, we eventually made it to a club, where we all managed to loose each other, which made for some interesting stories the next morning, as for once we hadn't all been joined at the hips! The following day was extremely painful. The boys decided they wanted to visit Nimbin one last time and discovered they had a mardi gras festival on. So the day was spent mainly eating by me and molly with the odd bit of shopping thrown in. That evening we made the most of having a TV in our room and having not seen one for about 3 months we had a major DVD night.

The following day we made our way to Byron bay and having fully recovered from our messy night out in Surfers we felt ready to do it all over again! Another box of goon later and we found ourselves in a familiar state! Again the next day was a complete right off finding ourselves just about capable to wonder round the shops before collapsing in a heap! Dan myself and now Dave started feeling pretty rough and between us have had a pretty nasty cold with one day each being a complete right off due to a cold - not alcohol for once. That day we got a call from a very pissed off wicked saying we were supposed to have handed back our camper. Due to the fact we had to change vans somewhere along the line the hand back date had been changed to our original booking dates but luckily we managed to extend the lone without too many problems.

We made our way back to Brisbane where we spent the day packing all our things up and cleaning the van out ready to head it back. The following day we checked ourselves into a hostel where we then had to hand back our van which was sad mixed with relief that we would no longer have to battle out who was sleeping in the tent or traveling in the back!
We spent the day exploring china town then came back to our hostel to find our camper parked out front. Having chatted to the people in it we said our final goodbye to the van!! That night was yet another messy night - having a bar and club in our hostel is just tempting fate!

Yesterday was a girls day out however I think I was the only one human enough to really enjoy it. Whilst the guys spent the day moping around feeling sorry for themselves I dragged Molly into the centre where wed booked ourselves into a workshop to paint our own boomerang! I had a really good time and was quite chuffed with the finished item, Molly on the other had battled her was through finding joy in painting blobs in between the waves of sickness. That afternoon Molly and I had a much needed hair cut which made molly feel a little more human before we headed back where molly crashed out!

Today is our last day in Oz!!! I cant believe its gone soooo quickly, we treated ourselves to a slap up lunch to get us through the boring day of booking cars, hostels - yes we've finally learnt to book ahead!! and then packing. We're hoping to go to the Rugby later if we get everything sorted!
